Our leaders Pastor Valerie and her husband Ager along with their children Adonis and Aniya strive to be examples of what we believe. Our pastor’s dedication to serving has been shown in her commitment to preaching, teaching, and sharing the gospel for almost 15 years.
Her heart and love for Christ, the church, community, children, families and marriages aligns with how she has served over the years on the ministerial staff, in youth and young adult leadership, singing in the choir, a part of the praise and worship team, and collaborative efforts with marriage ministries, training ministry leaders, and working with new ministers in training. Her community efforts have included leadership in parent teacher organizations and with the band booster executive team.
Ager has been a dedicated servant to the Music Ministry for over 20 years; in recent years worked collaboratively with a Taskforce for church programs and events, and served with his wife within the marriage ministry and volunteering with the youth and leading the young adult ministries.
Their children enjoy being an active part of the youth and young adult ministry, using their gifts to serve within the music and media ministry, praise and worship, and dance ministry; all while encouraging their peers to connect with Christ. Pastor Valerie and Ager began leading in ministry together in 2014 when they began CHAT(Couples Hearing About the Truth); a marriage ministry that provides encouragement and spiritual guidance to couples through individual sessions and group workshops.
The GIFT Church exemplifies the heart of our Pastor and her family. Committed to Christ and the community! Willing to do the work! Always ready to serve, sow, and share! Gaining more, giving more, and getting more through Jesus Christ!

Seeking the full benefits of Christ’s provision to Sow that which He gives us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially to Share the Word of God with the people of God. (John 3:3-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; 2 Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-9; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11).

The mission of Greater Impact Faith Temple is to be a unified body of believers and followers of Jesus Christ fulfilling the Great Commission commanded in Matthew 28:18-20 through the work given in 1 Peter 4:10-11–As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace, whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Greater Impact Faith Temple-The GIFT Church is a journey of obedience, faith, and trusting God. In the midst of the pandemic, the Holy Spirit confirmed the assignment for Rev. Val to wholeheartedly walk in her purpose and her call to Pastor Val.
The name highlights that by Faith we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit created to use the gifts that God has given to make a Greater Impact in communities near and far!
After much prayer and questioning, God graciously gave several confirmations and the assurance of the provision for this impactful journey to begin. Pastor Val, her husband Ager, their children Adonis and Aniya praying and preparing for the next steps, collaborated with their Overseer, their Pastor, their family members and friends, and created the GIFT Church Board of Directors and an Accountability Board. They began planning and all came together with those who wanted to Serve and Support and set forth to take the church throughout the Douglasville community. This leap of faith availed the opportunity to have the church services outside at The O’Neal Plaza Downtown and services inside at the Douglasville Conference Center.
The journey began October 25, 2020 at 3:00pm and it continues………
